How it works

Everything is baked fresh for your order — nothing sits on a shelf. Here’s the whole routine (the toad insists it not be complicated):

1

Pick your treats

Browse the menu and fill your basket — breads, bagels, cookies, muffins, and whatever else catches your eye.

2

Choose a pickup window

Pick a date and time slot that suits you at checkout, and pay securely online. We bake with at least two days’ notice.

3

Swing by & enjoy

Collect your still-warm order in Jackson, Maine. Unhurried, like all good things.

Celiac-safe, always

A kitchen with zero gluten in it

Our home kitchen is 100% dedicated gluten-free — no wheat flour has ever dusted these counters. There’s no shared equipment, no “made on the same line,” no fine print.

If gluten finds you easily, you can relax here. And if it doesn’t? You’ll just have to settle for baked goods that taste wonderful.

We do bake with eggs, dairy, and nuts — check the menu tags, and reach out about allergies anytime.

Why a lazy toad?

Because good bread refuses to be rushed — and so does our mascot. He naps on a warm loaf, puffs little mint-green bubbles from his pipe, and supervises exactly nothing.

The baking, thankfully, is handled by Emma.
